Dr. Robert L. Emrich is the 17th called and installed pastor in the churches history. A native of Pennsylvania and a graduate of Gettysburg College and Pittsburgh Seminary, he came to Saginaw in 1985. The Emrich's have grown children: David, Katie, and Andrew. Mrs. Carol Emrich is an early childhood educator with the Saginaw Public Schools.Dr. Emrich has served on many Synod and Presbytery Committees and as Moderator of the Presbytery of Lake Huron in 2002. He is past Chair of the Board of Trustees of Delta Community College and Chair of the Alma Kirk Council. He is a founding member of the Saginaw Chapter of Habitat for Humanity and presently is serving on its board. He says he loves Michigan because he loves golf, fishing, and hunting - things Michigan offers in abundance. 
Gregory H. Largent is our Director of Music Ministries. As Choirmaster and Organist, Mr. Largent is the director of the Chancel Choir, Youth Choir, Alleluia! Boys Choir, Alleluia! Girls Choir, Geneva Bell Choir, and the Youth Bell Choir. His ministry comes from a strong sense of call to work with young people to Praise God with Music. Mr. Largent has a great talent of working with Youth and Children...he loves to help them find their special gifts and develop those God given gifts. Mr. Largent has a Masters of Music in Organ and Church Music from Indiana University, Bloomington where he studied with Professor of Organ, Dr. Oswald Ragatz. His Bachelors of Music is from Southern Illinois University where he was a student of Professor of Organ, Marianne Webb. He is married to Anna M. Leppert-Largent and they have two children Elizabeth and Chris.

At a specially called Session meeting on June 22, 2006 the Session, on the recommendation of Dr. Emrich and the Personnel Committee, hired the Rev. Carol A. Miller to be Parish Associate with the title of Parish Visitor. Carol has since resigned as Parish Visitor but she continues as our Parish Associate and will be offering various Adult Bible Studies throughout the program year. After retiring from the ministry, Carol and her husband Harry moved back to Saginaw where her daughter lives. After Carol's husband Harry died of cancer, Carol expressed her desire to become involved in a local congregation. She served for nine years as pastor of the Cadmus Presbyterian Church in Adrian, Michigan. She has clinical pastoral education credentials and her M. Div. from McCormick Seminary. We are blessed to have her ministry among us.
Rev. Harold W. Kaser, Pastor Emeritus Dr. Harold W. Kaser of Coschocton, Ohio became our new pastor in September, 1971. He served at First church until October, 1984. Dr. Kaser passed away on June 14, 2010 in Columbus, Ohio. Funeral services took place on June 26th at Brown Chapel at Muskingum University, New Concord with Rev. Jonathan Carlisle of Coshocton Presbyterian Church officating.
