Hidden Harvest and Eastside Soup Kitchen open the new Hunger Solution Center

Hidden Harvest and the Eastside Soup Kitchen are dedicated to alleviating hunger and addressing nutritional issues that affect many of our neighbors in the Tri-County area (Saginaw, Midland and Bay City). The concept behind this new center, through this collaborative effort between these two agencies, is to “champion anti-hunger issues, food conservation, meal assistance, nutritional education, health monitoring and food distribution”. This new center is currently working to raise $3.1 Million dollars for this 18,300 square foot building that will be located on the corner of Thompson and E. Genesee, about two blocks from the current location of the East Side Soup Kitchen in the Warren Avenue Presbyterian Church. If you would like more information about this project, would like to volunteer with serving meals, or want to know how to make a contribution, call 989-753-4749
