At a specially called Session meeting on June 22, 2006
the Session, on the recommendation of Dr. Emrich and the Personnel
Committee, hired the Rev. Carol A. Miller to be Parish Associate with
the title of Parish Visitor. Carol has since resigned as Parish
Visitor but she continues as our Parish Associate and will be offering
various Adult Bible Studies throughout the program year. After
retiring from the ministry, Carol and her husband Harry moved back to
Saginaw where her daughter lives. This past year Harry died of cancer
and Carol expressed her desire to become involved in a local congregation.
She served for nine years as pastor of the Cadmus Presbyterian Church in
Adrian, Michigan. She has clinical pastoral education credentials and
her M. Div. from McCormick Seminary. We are blessed to have her
ministry among us. |
