Good Neighbors Mission

First Presbyterian houses the westside satellite of the Good Neighbors Mission.  Good Neighbors assists persons with need for short-term or emergency food.  

Habitat for Humanity

First Presbyterian Church has actively participated in Saginaw HFH Blitz's since

1995.  Members assist with financial support and are active in the construction of homes in the city of Saginaw.  In Saginaw Blitz 2002 11 homes were constructed in two weeks. First Presbyterian Church members also serve on boards and committees with Saginaw Habitat for Humanity. 

Christian Children's Fund

First Presbyterian Church supports four children through the Christian Children's Fund.  

Saginaw Rescue Mission

Boy Scouts

First Presbyterian Church has sponsored a Boy Scout Troop since 1932. Troop 366 meets at the church weekly during the school year. 

Heifer Project International

First Presbyterian Church's Sunday School has raised money for the purchase of animals through Heifer Project International.  Animals purchased through HPI are given to persons in poverty or third-world conditions in order to increase their nutrition and their opportunities for continued income through the offspring of the original donated animal.  

Underground Railroad

Underground Railroad is a shelter for women and their children who are being physically and/or psychologically abused.  

Eastside Soup Kitchen

Eastside Soup Kitchen serves meals daily for persons in need in the Saginaw eastside.  Housed at Warren Avenue Presbyterian Church, the Eastside Soup Kitchen serves school children and adults.
