Confirmation Each Spring the Pastor, Rev. Dr. Robert Emrich, teaches an in-depth study on basic Christian beliefs and practices as well as the history and government of the Presbyterian Church. This class is designed for young people in 8th grade or higher, who wish to seriously consider uniting with First Presbyterian Church through confirmation. Young people who are interested in joining First Presbyterian Church as their first church membership should take Confirmation classes. More detailed information about meeting times and dates will be available early in 2007. Contact the church office if you are interested in participating. Confirmation Classes for 2007 (all classes will last from 9:30 a.m. till noon in the Geneva Room): Saturday, March 24 Saturday, March 31 Saturday, April 21 On Wednesday, April 25th the confirmation class will meet with the Session in the Calvin Room at 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, April 29th they will be received into the church during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. |
