Communion, or the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is served six times per year. It is a communal meal of remembrance in which we celebrate the love of God made manifest in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ upon the cross. Communion is open to all Baptized persons. One does not have to be a member of the church to take communion. In the case of children who have been baptized, parents or those having parental responsibility for the child should instruct the child as to the meaning of the sacrament. Materials are available to assist parents in this task.
Here is the dates of Sacraments: Home communion is available to church members who are ill or shut-in. Home communion can be arranged through the church office. |
